ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire Welders/Fabricators. We are currently looking for an experienced welders /fabricators that enjoy custom steel fabrication.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to follow instructions
• Collaborating directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products
• Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment
• Using wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication
• Using manual and power tools for finish grinding applications
• Utilizing knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics and building materials
• Reading, understanding and following detailed drawings and blueprint specifications
• Performing all job functions and using all equipment safely by following all safety policies and good housekeeping practices
• Handling other duties as assigned within the scope of the position

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 2 -3 years of Welding experience.
• Metal fabrication experience, preferably in welding
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time
• The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Work Environment:

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE & safety training will be provided)
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
