Akkodis is seeking a SAS Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC & Plano, TX (Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have strong SAS, Teradata, and Unix skills. They will analyze change requests and support application enhancements.
Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SAS Programmer job responsibilities include:
Developing, testing, and maintaining SAS programs for data analysis and reporting
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements
Performing data validation, cleaning, and transformation for accurate analysis
Generating standardized reports and ad-hoc queries using SAS tools
Ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAS programming and data analysis
Strong proficiency in SAS, Teradata, and Unix scripting
Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) domain is an advantage
Familiarity with Python, Spark, and Hadoop is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
