Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $58.00

Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM) | Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Clinical Documentation Specialist for an exciting Remote job in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
• Identify opportunities for documentation improvement and coding accuracy
• Utilize EMR systems for documentation review and updates
• Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives
• Maintain documentation standards across clinical records
• Support reimbursement and coding accuracy processes
• Ensure proper clinical documentation alignment with care provided
• Work in coordination with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years acute care hospital or CDI experience required
• Active RN license required
• Bachelor’s degree required (BSN preferred)
• Strong knowledge of clinical documentation and coding standards
• Experience with EMR systems required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of healthcare compliance and reimbursement processes
