Role: Manual QA Tester - Capital Markets

Location: North Quincy, MA (Onsite/Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester with strong Capital Markets domain expertise to support testing activities across complex web-based financial applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end testing, backend validation using PL/SQL, and a solid understanding of trade lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing and QA Execution

• Perform test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management
• Validate complex web applications with high data sensitivity and transaction volumes
• Ensure quality across functional, regression, and integration testing

Capital Markets Domain Validation

• Validate workflows across the trade lifecycle (Front Office to Back Office)
• Work with Order Management Systems (OMS), market data, and settlement processes
• Support testing aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements

Backend and Data Validation

• Use PL/SQL for backend validation and data integrity checks
• Perform data reconciliation and assist in root cause analysis

Agile Collaboration

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams
• Use Jira for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
• Collaborate with global distributed teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners

Required Skills

Primary Skills

• Strong experience in manual testing across the full QA lifecycle
• Deep knowledge of Capital Markets, including trade lifecycle, order management, market data, settlements, and regulatory processes
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira
• Strong PL/SQL skills for backend validation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Secondary / Preferred Skills

• Basic automation experience using Selenium with Python
• Understanding of NAV (Net Asset Value) and fund accounting
• Exposure to investment management or asset management domains
