Job Description:

Mother Teresa Regional Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in utilizing data to drive instruction, and is eager to contribute to a challenging Honors Math curriculum

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess student performance through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
• Offer academic advising to students, helping them set educational goals and develop study strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and teaching strategies.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for mathematics.

Skills

• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, including differential equations and discrete math.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and requirements.
• Proficient in creating lesson plans that match the needs of the students
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
