Job Description

Pay is $16 Per hour plus commission. Must have an open availability.

We’re looking for a dependable, customer‑focused Gallery Assistant to support daily operations in our rug gallery. This role includes helping customers with rug selections, maintaining the gallery’s appearance, and assisting with general sales and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist with rug selection, sizing, and product questions.
• Pull, flip, and display rugs safely during customer presentations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, visually appealing gallery.
• Tag, label, and restock rugs; assist with inventory checks.
• Help with incoming shipments, unpacking, and staging.
• Support sales staff and help prepare rugs for pickup or delivery.
• Follow safety procedures when handling heavy merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and move rugs (30–70 lbs).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.
• Retail or sales experience is helpful but not required.
