Summary

The Insulator 1 position is responsible for the proper insulation all copper and/or steel lines. This includes all types of insulation utilized for refrigeration systems assembly.

Essential Functions:

• Proper utilization and application of a tape measure.
• Ordering correct type and size of insulation.
• Validation of proper insulation thickness.

• Cut insulation by specification sheet for job.

• Proper application of insulation to piping.
• Proper application of clad insulation to receivers.

Non-Essential Functions

• Stocking of insulation in inventory area.

Supervisory Responsibilities (if applicable)

● The Insulator 1 position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
